Where do I find widgets and how can I add or remove them?
From the Dashboard page of WordPress, select “Widgets” under appearance, down the left hand side of the page.
This will take you to the Widgets page.
To add a Widget, select the required one from the main section of the page, click and hold, then drag it across to the widget area bar on the right hand side of the page (if you haven’t set up any widgets yet, then it will be a “default” side bar). This activates your chosen widget.
To remove a widget, select it from the sidebar, click and hold, then drag it across to the main section of the page. This will deactivate the widget.
If there are no widgets, then it will display a search bar, Recent Posts, Recent Comments, Archives, Categories and Meta
